I believe it mostly depends on high the dogs are raised. Off course these dog are strong and with most the jaws are heavily developed, but must of these dogs are perfect family dogs. You actually here a lot of stories these days that the perfect family dog, The Golden Retriever, is getting more agressive (bad line in the breed).
